This video is a follow-up to my original Morimoto XB Evo headlight installation video, and in this installment, I take the upgrade a step further by installing the optional Morimoto XB Evo Superchargers. These superchargers are designed specifically to enhance the light output of the Morimoto XB Evo headlights, providing a noticeable increase in brightness and overall beam intensity. In this video, I briefly walk through the installation process of the superchargers, and the general procedure for anyone looking to perform this upgrade themselves.
In addition to the installation, I conduct a comparative lighting performance test using a calibrated light meter. By measuring the lux levels before and after the supercharger installation, I provide real-world data on how much additional light output the superchargers actually deliver. This is particularly useful for Tacoma owners or any Morimoto XB Evo owners who are looking for improvements to their lighting systems, rather than relying solely on manufacturer claims or subjective impressions.
The vehicle featured in this video is my 2021 Toyota Tacoma.
